Program Description:

CanPowerSkate is a Skate Canada program that has been designed to enhance the skating skills needed for hockey.  CanPowerSkate is geared to skaters aged approximately six or older who already have basic forward and backward skating skills and are able to stop on command without using the boards.  Full hockey equipment is required for this program.

Our CanSkate program provides kids with the best foundation for figure skating, hockey, and recreational skating. Our program involves group lessons with Skate Canada certified coaches and Program Assistants. It focuses on agility, balance and control.
Prerequisite for CanSkate: Skaters must have passed their Pre-CanSkate ribbons. CSA approved helmets are mandatory

Program Description:

Our CanSkate Enrichment program is for skaters who have passed CanSkate stage 3 and who are looking to further improve their skating.  This program involves both group lessons and designated practice times.  These designated practice times require skaters to be able to self regulate their practice as they are not in group lessons.  Skaters can also opt to receive private lessons during these times with one of our highly qualified coaches.  This level also offers skaters to opportunity to register in events and competitions.  Helmets are mandatory until skaters pass Stage 5

Program Description:

The StarSkate program is for skaters who have passed Stage 5 CanSkate.  This program offers both group lessons and designated practice times.  Group lessons will focus on skills, dance and free skate, and will help promote creativity and expression.  There are opportunities for testing and competitions at this level.  Private lessons are highly recommended at this level but are not mandatory.
