Star 4 - Beginner

Pulse Synchro started a Star 4 program in 2024 to introduce young skaters under 12 to synchronized skating. These skaters train together for 1 -2 hours per week, including off-ice conditioning, on top of their regular lessons.

The team experience encourages camaraderie and support, helping them improve skills and build friendships. At this level, synchro focuses on fun, friendship, and fitness.

Star 4 - Pre Juvenile

This young group of athletes also under 12, train together 1.5 - 2hrs per week on and off ice in addition to their regular skating programs.

Our team is comprised of skaters from Collingwood, Elmvale, Markdale, Stayner, and Wasaga Beach. With new and returning members this young team had a fantastic inaugural season in he PJ category, competing in three competitions, and achieving a bronze medal in Kingston.

Star 8 - Pre Novice

The Star 8 team symbolizes the beginning of Pulse Synchro's journey. These skaters, with their enthusiasm and dedication, set the foundation for what has become a thriving community of synchro athletes.

Currently in their third season this team welcomes skaters from Wasaga Beach, Barrie, Collingwood, and Orillia. Team members range in age from 13 to 17, with diverse backgrounds in synchro skating experience and skill level.

Adult 2

Pulse Synchro launched an Adult Synchro program for the 2025-2026 season. This inclusive sport welcomes all ages and abilities, offering training and competition opportunities. Our first adult team features both experienced skaters and those returning after time away, with participants coming from Barrie, Stayner, Collingwood, Orillia, and Wasaga Beach.

If you are over 18 yrs of age this is the team for you!

The beauty of synchronized skating lies in its complexity and the seamless coordination of skaters. Unlike solo figure skating, synchro emphasizes group dynamics and collective artistry. Each skater must be in perfect harmony with the others, executing intricate formations and transitions that contribute to the overall aesthetic of the performance. The discipline showcases a plethora of elements, including lines, circles, blocks, wheels, and intersections, all requiring precise synchronization and spatial awareness.

Pulse Synchro, a local synchronized skating team, is comprised of skaters from across Simcoe County who train together in Wasaga Beach. In 2023, their inaugural year, Pulse Synchro began with one team, Star 8 (Pre-Novice).  In 2024, Pulse grew to include a younger team, Star 4, reflecting their commitment to nurturing young talent and fostering a love for the sport.  We are proud to announce our family has now grown to include three youth teams and one adult team during our 2025-2026 season.

Pulse Synchro skaters are involved in community events that promote synchronized skating and encourage youth to become ambassadors for the sport and responsible global citizens.

Looking ahead, Pulse Synchro is focused on setting new goals, striving for excellence, and expanding their reach. They aim to enhance their training programs, increase community involvement, and achieve greater success in regional and national competitions.

Synchronized skating is more than just a sport; it is an art form that celebrates unity, precision, and collective effort. Pulse Synchro embodies these values, creating a vibrant community of skaters who share a passion for the discipline.
